KINCAID DEBUTING ECLECTIC MIX OF UPDATES TO THEIR LONGSTANDING "TREASURES" LINE
Kincaid is introducing an eclectic mix of updates to their longstanding “Treasures” line that pay homage to one-of-a-kind designs as well as small collections with interesting elements and applications, and will be on display in the company’s showroom, IHFC H1204, during the upcoming High Point Market.
Beautifully scrolled legs are a focal point for the new Davidson (2870) grouping of bistro, gaming, and occasional tables. The 48” gaming table’s chestnut finished wood top is accented with pewter inserts and an emerald green felt top. The bistro table has a center featuring metal filigree details, while the leather-clad stool and game chair add relaxed warmth.
Claremont (2871) is a Campaign-styled occasional collection in a light olive ash burl featuring a wall unit which can be comprised of a console or sofa table between two tall bookcase/display end units, or any other number of configurations for a more customized result. The square cocktail has a storage shelf as well as pullout laminate shelves and two removable tabletop trays. The rectangular cocktail has pullout laminate shelves with two drawers on opposite sides.
A five-piece occasional group with a more transitional Louis Philippe inspiration, the Belleville (2872) collection has a rich, smooth finish with antique mirror inlays on all tops, providing a subtle hint of contemporary elegance.
Stanford (2874) is a rather unique collection of occasional tables and includes a distinctive poster bed with tall headboard posts and low footboard posts. A special process marries hand-applied fabric to wood which is then finished to a dark luster where tops and borders are handpainted with delicate ribbons, flowers, and birds, producing a beautiful, antiqued chinoiserie effect. A large round cocktail table is transformed with the addition of faux bamboo around the table’s edge and gently flared legs. An oval tray table mimics the round, yet shows off more of the soft curves of the bamboo-shaped gate legs, and also includes a removable tray on its top. A stunning console table provides efficient use of space with two flip-down drawers.
A generously-scaled contemporary occasional grouping is found with Lubbock (2876). The three-piece set blends texturally distressed metal frames with glass-topped inserts, bordered with antiqued bronze slate tiles. The look is clean yet conveys strength and substance.
