Presentation illuminates ways interior design professionals can collaborate with HGTV

Bassett, VA, March 20, 2014 – Bassett Furniture Industries and its HGTV™ Furniture Collection are extending their partnership with qualified interior design professionals at the April 2014 High Point Market with a specially developed partnership program and a business and brand- building presentation sponsored by HGTV.

Designers who qualify for membership in either the Bassett or HGTV HOME Furniture Collection Designer Preferred program receive access to two top consumer brands supported by an array of smart sales and marketing tools and stellar sales support. Each of the programs makes it easy for design professionals to confidently purchase and sell these in-demand brands to their clients. Membership in the program is renewable annually if qualifying requirements are met. Consultants are available throughout High Point Market to present the program to designers and register qualified professionals for exclusive benefits.

In continuing support of this important channel of distribution, Bassett and HGTV HOME Furniture Collection are hosting a designers-only presentation, sponsored by HGTV, America’s leading home and lifestyle brand, on Monday, April 7. Top HGTV talent and brand professionals will share insider knowledge on working with the HGTV Professionals Network and ways to have their work featured on the brands’ many platforms. HGTV host, Genevieve Gorder, will share her experiences working with HGTV; Nancy Fire, HGTV HOME Design Director, will discuss 2015 trends and how they will relate to HGTV HOME products; and Rich Lacy, vice president of emerging brands, will offer ways attendees can become involved with the HGTV Professional Network to have their portfolios featured on HGTV.com.

The event begins at 4PM in the Bassett Furniture showroom auditorium, IHFC C1200. Space is limited. Designers are encouraged to register here in advance.

Following the presentation, Bassett, HGTV HOME Furniture Collection and HGTV invite all attendees to join them for a cocktail reception, 5-7PM, in the Bassett and HGTV HOME Furniture Collection showrooms, IHFC C1200.
