Lexington Announces "Destination Design Event" Winner of a Luxurious Weekend Getaway to Bermuda

HIGH POINT, NC – At the recent High Point Market, held October 19-24, Lexington Home Brands hosted Destination Design, a special event exclusively for design professionals, in their Lexington Home Brands Reception Studio located at 116 East Commerce Street. In a random drawing of attendees, Kelly Kole of Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, won a luxurious weekend getaway for two to the exclusive Mandarin Oriental in Elbow Beach, Bermuda.

“Our goal in hosting this event for design professionals was to introduce them to the myriad of design opportunities we offer at Lexington,” said Phil Haney, President and CEO of Lexington Home Brands. “It also served as an opportunity for us to invite them to our main showroom campus. At the main showroom, we had a staff dedicated and trained in the nuances of the design trade to assist in showing products suited for their current and future projects.”

Enjoying an array of light, innovative fare, approximately 150 design professionals from across North America visited Lexington’s Reception Studio next to the IHFC building to preview a display of signature pieces including Lexington’s newest indoor and outdoor introductions.  They also had a chance to engage with other designers, magazine and trade editors, as well as Lexington’s product development team.  Haney added, “We also owe a sincere thanks to our designer envoys, Jennifer Brouwer and Elaine Williamson. Through their enthusiasm for Lexington products and their networking connections within the design community, they piqued designers’ curiosity and encouraged them to join us at the event.”

The winner, Kelly Kole, is a principal at Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs. The firm has established a reputation for their approachable style, signature use of color and one-of-a-kind custom designs. Their work has been featured in major newspapers and magazines along with television and social media outlets.

Kole will enjoy a four-day, three night trip to the Mandarin Oriental in Elbow Beach, Bermuda. The Mandarin Oriental is a 5-star luxurious island resort with elegant rooms, captivating landscaped gardens, a private pink sand beach and a sumptuous spa along with delicious restaurants and stylish bars on one of the world’s most beautiful islands.
