AT HIGH POINT MARKET - WOOLRICH LIGHTS THE WAY WITH ICONIC DESIGNS
April 2009, Woolrich, PA – Woolrich adds to its broad assortment of outdoors-inspired home furnishings collections with two new lamps to debut at the Spring 2009 High Point Market. The designs are iconic Woolrich—the authentic American brand that embraces the outdoors lifestyle—and coordinate with hundreds of other home furnishings in the Woolrich product assortment.
Over five generations have worn the famous Woolrich buffalo check shirt. With roots tracing back to the mid-1800’s, the recognizable red and black checkered pattern has appeared on apparel, blankets, and home accents. It is always a best-seller and this slightly modernized application to the “Heritage Check” table lamp is sure to become a favorite. With leather trim topped by metal tacks, and a drum-shaped shade of black denim, this 27” tall lamp takes on an urban attitude with a nod to its casual lifestyle. Approximate retail will be $237 and it will be available at retail in early summer.
Stretching towards the sky, stately trees are a beautiful sight to behold. The “Woodlands Silhouette” table lamp features an artistic rendition of two intertwined trees against a coal-colored background. With their trunks and limbs intricately detailed, the elements of nature are well defined. The painted wood base and square antiqued Kraft shade have an overall height of 30” and will sell for approximately $199 when the lamp hits the retail floor this summer.
