COLOR, CUSTOMIZATION, AND CAREFREE LIVING FROM KINCAID
Kincaid Partners With Sunbrella® to Create Indoor Upholstered
Furniture for Active Lifestyles
October 13, 2012, Hudson, NC — Color, customization and carefree living are the watchwords in upholstered furniture introductions at Kincaid Furniture this Market, thanks to a new partnership with Sunbrella fabrics.
In keeping with its dedication to domestic production, Kincaid turned to North Carolina-based Sunbrella to create new options for consumers with active lifestyles in its Custom Select Upholstery program. The durable, stain-resistant Sunbrella fabrics, available in at least 30 choices, are shown on sofas, loveseats, sectionals, accent chairs and ottomans, and are also available for Kincaid’s popular slipcover program—offering a full slate of design options with great style.
Stand-out silhouettes include a (worry-free!) traditionally-styled white sofa with red and blue ikat-pattern accent pillows and chairs, a well-scaled sectional in tasty vanilla with orange creamsicle accent pillows, a more formal graphic grey group and a bronze color group.
Throughout the showroom, Kincaid captures the latest looks in upholstered furniture fashion trends with a natty round, tailored ottoman in on-trend balsamic purple, blue-and-green toile chairs with carved wood frames that move the traditional motif into a modern-casual aesthetic and a selection of accent chairs in charming florals, tropical interpretations and a classic flame stitch updated in chic black, gray and khaki hues.
The company’s Cottage Classics introductions bring pristine tailoring and designer vision to casual, comfortable seating. Included are a subtle mélange of gentle florals punctuated with bold butterflies and a strikingly angular approach to the timeless wing design in both sofa and chair styles.
