In development for more than a year, Berkline recently introduced the company’s new individually-pocketed coil seating system which is now a standard feature in all their new products, including those shown at the January 2011 Las Vegas Market.

For consumers this new system of individually foam encased, covered springs means they will feel the difference immediately, enjoying the highest level of comfort and quality possible in motion and home theater seating.

The technology, which has been highly successful in luxury mattresses, conforms to each person’s unique shape and contours for maximum individual comfort and support by distributing weight more evenly along the entire surface of a seat.

Made from heavy gauge steel, the new individually-pocketed coil springs are specially designed to last longer than solid foam cores while eliminating the need for a traditional spring base.

The company’s Luxury Series recliners, premium sofas groups, Home Theater, and Hammock Series recliners shown at the Las Vegas Market all feature the new coil seating system.
